cherry blossom wedding in spring | THE CLAREMONT HOTEL

Jen is a classic bride who wanted her day to be elegant, clean, romantic, soft and traditional but also contemporary.  She loved the soft blush and salmon tones of flowers and was looking for some direction to pull it all together.  Her true loves were cherry blossoms and peonies.  Although I pride myself in giving a bride exactly what she wants, it is impossible to do that with those two flowers as they are extremely seasonal.  Blossoms are available in  late March and April.  And peonies are typically April and May.  With a March 5^th date, we decided to have a Plan “A” and a Plan “B”.  Although Jen would rather be assured that she could have them and not worry all year about it, I feel that it is important to set the expectations in reality and not to over promise.  I kept her posted throughout the season and she got her wish – they were blooming and gorgeous for her special day.
Her bouquet mainly consisted of blush pink peonies with a few soft spray roses.  The bridesmaids had clusters of sahara roses, soft blush tulips, ranunculas and two toned hydrangea.  These flowers exhibit the classic shapes that she wanted…yet they were clustered together in a contemporary fashion.As the guests entered the room, they were greeted by tall glass vases with cherry blossoms springing from the top and tucked under water.  It was better than her dreams…it was her reality.
Her planner Katherine, helped her pull together all of the details and the day was exactly as she wished.
