As you can see above, Judy Chen got married at the Kohl Mansion and she came to us with a dream to have a Marie Antoinette inspired wedding. It was a combination of her vision and our execution of that vision that made this wedding something different and special.
When Judy came in to meet with us she mentioned that her mother imports fabric embellishments and jewels, so we decided to incorporate them into the design of her wedding. Its like Coco Chanel says: “every girl should be two things, classy and fabulous. Judy embodies this idea and she wanted her wedding to do the same.
We used Judy’s resources to embellish vases with fabric, broaches, and strung pearls. We put a lot of time and effort into the design of the vase because we wanted them to be just right for Judy and also reuse them as rentals for future clients. Linnae kept the color scheme sophisticated using creams, shades of pink, gold, copper, and bronze. We also used some of our custom wrought iron pieces to give the wedding a masculine aesthetic. Judy got married under our iron archway that works well at the Kohl. We also utilized our Lion stands for the tall centerpieces. Although it was a Marie Antoinette theme we did not want it to be too feminine so we used the ironwork to balance the over all look.
We did something else special at Judy’s wedding. We moved the isle décor flowers from the ceremony to the reception. It’s the same flowers that you see up the isle on the iron stands that got reused as her tall centerpieces. We do like doing this because it is a step towards having a greener wedding. Not to mention that this save our clients green$$$.
